How To: Make a Polyhedron

If you're going to make a polyhedron, you first have to know what a polyhedron is. First of all, a polyhedron is a geometric shape that contains many faces. But don't worry, this isn't going to include math skills. As long as you follow these steps, you'll do fine on your work.
Here are the materials you will need to create your polyhedron:- 12 drinking staws, or more (depending on the shape you're creating).

- 10 pipe cleaners
- a ruler
- a ruler

Directions:1. Choose a polyhedron that you would like to make (example: Dodecahedron, Octogonal prism, Square antiprism)2. Cut the straws at the four inch point.

3. Put the pipe cleaner through the straw.

4. When you got that down, cut 11, or more straws and do the same process with step 3.5.When you got your polyhedron down, tie each of the pipe cleaners into the shape you want to make.6. Make sure you tie the sides tightly so it won't get loose.7. Straighten the pipe cleaners very gentely, so that it's not slanted up or down.8. Once you've completed all of these steps, congratulations, you've created your own polyhedron!
4. When you got that down, cut 11, or more straws and do the same process with step 3.
5.When you got your polyhedron down, tie each of the pipe cleaners into the shape you want to make.
6. Make sure you tie the sides tightly so it won't get loose.
7. Straighten the pipe cleaners very gentely, so that it's not slanted up or down.
8. Once you've completed all of these steps, congratulations, you've created your own polyhedron!
